Its hard for me to get pictures if the issue. its not the allen screw, but the receiving threads ON the sight post are now completely gone.

I had this problem but i need to fix the barrel wobble on my m16 and it used those screws but i broke mine so i went ACE, the helpful place. Take that screw in and they will help, if not home depot might.
once, while sex in a tractor trailer, part of Billy's sperm got into the engine. We know know this truck as optimus prime.

get a bigger allen and slowly screw it into the hole, making new threads - or do the right thing and drill and tap the hole with the appropiate threading, and get a correct sized allen to hold it in.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

yeah I use a Phillips type screw for that screw with the correct thread.
