So the bearings from the spring guide on my vsr all disappeared. :? Do the bearings actually do anything significant. If I do get another, should I get a vaccum one, or one with bearings.
yes, when the spring is being compressed it tends to want to spin, thats why the bearings are there. Vacuum spring guides only work if you have a vacuum piston, so it'd be cheaper to get another bearing spring guide.

It would work fine without the bearings. It would cancel the function of the bearing spring guide, but they sell non bearing-metal spring guides, and this one (without the bearings) would function the same as one of those.
