Hey i have a top m60 shorty with an m16 style flashider and i cant for the life of me figure out how it comes off. Any help would be great

the flashider is metal, and it seems like its loose, it has a little play maybe a 16th to an 8th of an inch left to right. But it dosent seem like it threads on pos or neg, and i dont want to try to hard and break it.
