Since the "official" AEG build off has been CANCELLED. A few participants said that they would still continue on with their builds. I'll be continuing with my projects also.... So if anyone would like to enter in an AEG, just post here with a few pics of the AEG and its specifications. The winner with the most votes via "poll" will win something.... Maybe a mini gun or something LOLz. :D

Right now is cool, a couple of people said that they would be ready by the end of the month!?!? hehehe

I'll whip up a cheap ass-soft trophy to be kept by the winner till something cooler comes along, then they have to cough up and give the trophy to the new DUDE.

sweet =) lol ill take away the trophy in awhile tho =) but i gots plans, and besides what better else to do with money that i will make working at an airsoft shop but to spend it on airsoft stuff!! =) LoL

I think we should make a specific thread for the build off guns. Gun pictures, description, and poll. Nothing else, no comments allowed (might just clutter it up). What do you guys think? Need to come up with a start date also???

Oh my god that thing is RAD!!! Ok, I feel pretty stupid asking this, but are you custom building it, or does it come in a kit? And, if you're building it yourself, are you intending to actually make it shoot? Seriously dude, mad props to you.

yea i built it from scratch, couple sheets of steel, hammer fordgered it all, adn yes it does and will shoot

ya, galvanized steel, and no im just bending the steel on a vise wiht a hammer.. and no i did not disign it in cad, just a scetch on paper

That's really cool! You using an M4 or an SR16 in there (that's what I seen in there right)? How you going to load BB's?

the bb's load threw a high cap in a drum magazine that im making, adn the bb come in to the gun via a coil spring that i made, like how the m249 box magazines work

are u just taking the metal bodie of a normal or like factory made airsoft gun and putting metal in the shape of an m249 around it?

kind of, i have a v2 gearbox in there with a sr16 body, but the plastic body is all cut and modyifyed to fit right, and its not a m249, its a fn mag58. and no i did not get to work on it today so no new pics
