had anyone else had this problem with their xbox 360?

Hmm... I have the same problem. Some disks will read while others do not. I was thinking that is was a malfunction with the update they released because it did not happen until after i updated. *mutters incoherently and bangs 360 with a rubber chicken*

i get that sometimes but if i pop the disk out and put it back in everything is all gravy until it happens again which could be anywhere from 1 hour to 2 weeks. Its odd and i can't duplicate it with any consistency... happens with various games at various points in it

in about 1-3 onths you'll get 3 rings of death while playing a game

mines been doing it since jan...

mine started last thursday after picking up vegas 2.

Good, All i got to was the lobby and then the 360 started making the noise.

I gave Microsoft a call and they are going to send me a box to ship my xbow with it.

Wraith, I gave them a call again today and the box has been shipped. Hoepfully I can get it this week and ship it out before the weekend.

i'd rather not waste my money on an expensive blu ray player with under 1mb of l2 CACHE and the same ungodly slow ass load time as it's predecesors

If you get an STI get a new one. The used ones have been having issues with people not knowing how to treat a car with a turbo right. Instead of letting it idle for a few after driving just turn them off. A subi mechanic I talked to said that they are having sever issuess now aorun 100k plus miles. He reconomned an 2.5 or a new STI. I say get ps3, in a few months any how no one will be able to afford gas :lol:

is all good Rap, I was looking into things I can do to make it more reliable. Perhaps maybe a new exhuast and a intake lol. Wakes up the neighbor every morning when I start it up.
