yeah I went with the sportline with the value pack, and honestly I wish I didn't. The stock battery was dead withing 90 minutes the sling broke before the end of the first day of use and I didnt care for the glasses. But hey atleast I have a back up battery and a charger. I am going to buy this battery on thurs.

I have been checking out the CA sportline, but from what i read most people say to stay with a metal gun and those are plastic. I am still learning more about them though, I am going to airsoft extreme up here in sac tommorow ( I am in sac till thurs afternoon) and see what if they could give me. The last time I called (the one in santa clara) they quoted me about $300 for a sportline (m4 style) with a battery and charger. And thats where I have been getting my base price from.

I just picked up another 8.4 but it is a 1200mah for $20 from AEX. I wanted to buy the intelect 8.4 1400mah but I wouldnt be able to get it in time for this weekend so I just picked this one up. I though about upgrading batterys to the 9.6 but from what I understand there is some internal rings or bushings that need to be swapped out too.

yes there called bushings and with a 9.6v battery that would be a good idea the ones that are in there right now are plastic and will go out quick if you use the 9.6v battery. you planning on kepping it stock or you going to upgrade it a little????
