This is a direct copy of what I wrote on our MAF site (Modesto Airsoft Forums) but still stands for all members. It may be old news and repetitive to older members, I have been playing for several years and it can happen to anyone, new or old to the sport.
i love how a LEO ALWAYS says "if you had that in the open i might have shot you"
A similar but less hectic version just recently happened to me and another forum member from this site.
heh, that dog was cool. BTW thanks for the shotgun Bill.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.
I would have to disagree Apache. This could not have happened to "ANYONE". It could have only happened to a person who felt it ok to pull, test fire and look at a replica firearm on a public street for 5 minutes, thinking that people would not call the cops. You should of brought it in the house, since you ended up in there anyways.
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?

Reminds me of an article I saw the other day, I'll edit my post so you people can read if I can find it again. But an airsofting group on the east coast was on a private feild having a jolly good time when they had the PoPo pop out of nowhere pointing Some minni 14's their direction, they dropped their gun and nobody was hurt, and since it was on private property it was fine.
In the original post he stated that upper class neighbors wont understand...no no no. People in general don't understand. I am an avid airsofter, but if I see my neighbor with a rifle or pistol with no orange tip I am calling the cops.
2 of my neighbors are sherrifs, last time we had a private game at my house they were sitting out side watching us laughing. SHit last time I got a new gun she was the first one I showed.
wow i didnt no they would take it so seriously.so maybe my friend shouldnt walk around town with his in his hands.haha and its all black
