Wow that is unbelievable. No disrespect to our service men and people in iraq. But that group of GI's shouldn't be allowed to get away with that. Right in front of the kid to. That was extremely unnecessary.
that was unnecessary

Very uneccesary. Didn't even bother to save the wood to return to the rightful owner.
That was totally unnecessary, we are trying to make a fair democracy with fair and balanced trials, and they go and do this...fueling the fire that is already hot.
well they won't do it again, at least not with that car

I've talked to alot of people within the services. They can all concur that acts like these are commonplace among certain ranks for no good reason but entertainment. These acts then lead to harsher ROEs inhibiting their ability to fight the insurgency. Were losing and we aren't helping ourselves.

ok, so i posted this message to see what people thought about this video. at first it pissed me off that we could be that disrespectful to people that we don't even know. i thought to myself what would justify this kind of showboating of aggression.
Dude, seriously? I'm embarrassed. I'm planning on going into service after I graduate from UCD in a couple of years, and this makes me sad. If I was their CO I'd be pissed... first of all, the destruction of somebody else's property is never funny. Second, why is it being filmed. If you're going to disgrace yourself, that's one thing. If you're going to disgrace the uniform, that's unacceptable. This sort of stuff shouldn't be put on you-tube because it is largely unrepresentative of the military, and yet its the only thing many people see of it. Way to show respect... way to make a once honorable career a joke. GAH.
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.
