Type-0 cylinder with shorter barrels

Dec 15, 2004 10:52pm
I have a TM MC51 with an inner barrel length >500 (tightbore) with a new systema type-0 cylinder. Sometimes, the gun is rather large for CQC situations, and was wondering if I may continue to use the type-0 cylinder with a shorter tightbore without any problems. I can picture it being a problem if I were to use the stock cylinder with a longer barrel because it would suck the BB back in before it left the barrel; however, I can't visa versa. But if it weren't a problem, why bother with different versions of the cylinder? Thanks for any input that anyone may have.

I believe that each successive type of cylinder 0,1,2,3,4 sucks in less air, so the effective volume used to propel the bb is less.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
