Foreclosure Blues

Apr 13, 2008 6:04pm
My mom wrote a song about the whole foreclosure crisis. I'm just trying to help her video get some hits. It'll provoke thought. I promise.

WOW...maybe people should have been more responsible when buying a home. Seriously who the hell takes on a sub prime no money down ARM? What the hell did they think was going to happen? No down payment = no equity. But hey lets blame the banks for offering sub-prime loans and not the consumer for signing them. No one forced the Customer to take the loan.

hey johny since your in the know... what up with the 40 and 50 year loans?
Apr 13, 2008 11:46pm
Not a big fan of them. It stretches out your payments....however...you get the joy of paying interest for an additional 10 or 20 years...

Also, if the government keeps bailing out the banks and other companies, they will still maintain their high risk investing and such since they know the Fed is there to keep them on their feet...

Wow Johny, I now see you in an entirely different light.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

If you can manage it, a 20 yr fixed is a good way to go as well. Payments are a bit higher, but 10 years less interest! The other half of this economic mess our great country is in is NEGATIVE PERSONAL SAVINGS. This only happened like in the last ten years, where the amount of personal savings balances nationally dropped below the amount of personal consumer debt. It's a ticking time-bomb...
