Sounds like a newb question cuz it is. From what I gather to properly clean a your weapon (specifically the barrel) after a few games you should take a piece of cloth roll it onto your barrel cleaner, spray silicone on it and clean the barrel until no more dirt. What kind of lube or spray is it? Or is something I must buy specifically from AEX or at airsoft related store?

you do not need to spray silicone into your AEG's barrel to clean it...
i usually run a few clean clothes then one or two with a lil silicone spray from aex then the rest i run in the barrel are just clean clothes until no more dabree comes out of the barrel. the silicone i use is the the small can at AEX............... make sure you dont get the hopup bucking with any silicone

well from what i do i first run a few patches through then one with some silicone lube on it then run about 5+ patches to make sure no lube gets left also i dont go all the way down to the hopup unit. it always work for me like that with no problem but then again i guess on this issue it what every one feels works better for them. :)
