Ive got tons of good feedback, and I've dealt with Otenki personally and I'm talking with him right now. The woods may be stragely similar (and woods can be majorly manufactured....and he got his at home depot...where thousands of others get theirs), but the point is the GUNS are different.

in the same exact spot?

If its a fake wood flooring like Pergo they use the same grain patterns throughout.....so it is very possible it could be two different floors.

interesting....if it does turn out that otenki is legit, that is one HECK of a coincidence.

thats what i was thinking

I wholeheartedly agree and I really hope the situation will be resolved (especially since I've been a victim to scams as well).

Well better safe than sorry, but u guys could have waited to confirm it as a scam before making all the feedback, :(

[quote="speculator"]Whoa whoa, I dont know who the first seller is, but I've personally delt with and know the seller in the second thread you posted (and I myself have a ton of good seller feedback). Otenki is a seller located in houston and he just received his mp5k pdw 2 weeks ago in a skirmish trade. Those classifieds he posted were the first ones hes ever put up in asr.

Jay Lu and like i've said, i've dealt with him and hes an honest fella. What's the scammers name?

To add to speculator's gun observations the safe symbol is white in the "scammer's post" while the Otenki picture has a red safe symbol. I hope you didn't get scammed and if you didn't you owe this guy a big apology.

I don't think they are the same. They are definitely floating floors. You can tell by the long, straight lines that appear to cross the three individual strips. Note the line that runs side to side just below the bottom tip of the butt in the scammer pic (looks like a bad do-it-yourself job too because of the excess glue that has seeped out). It's a natural oak (with a few water stains) and it looks like it's been waxed too, with like a Murphy's Oil (never use that crap if you have newer hardwood).

I do hard wood flooring as well and I do notice the wood flooring is the same but is obviously of a different material.... Also it seems the camera resolution seems to be different. The scammer appears to have a high-res camera mean while this otenki fellow has a less than average camera. Might I add one difference I have noticed the selector switches are at different positions see how they are both on "Semi" how ever the scammer's white notch is above the semi marking and the otenki guy appears to be underneath the semi marking? Good luck with this man i hope the trade goes through.

Yes I have I own a escort MP5 and a CA MP5SD sometimes they click in at wrong spots they aren't very exact my MP5SD clicks in slightly above on semi and way above the fully auto notch. It is stock and I haven't opened it before.

Shiiiiiite. Thanks everybody here, its now been made apparent that the ads were not the same gun. Which means that if Otenki is not a scammer, and then neither is the "scammer."

Can anybody direct me to one of ASR's upper admins, one who has a good supply of power?? I need to speak with an admin so that I can find a way to get the feedback removed from the guy's profile.

So now I'm seeing that the guns are different guns... but like... that's such an insanely rare coincidence that they would have the same exactl pattern floor, almost identical guns, and use that same section of the pattern in their pictures. I'll change feedback to neutral, they didn't earn positive just because we had negative feedback originally.

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it. I'm just trying to do everything I can to amend the situation.
