Solid Aluminum Mechboxes - Do they really exist?

Dagger, is the PGC the same as a version 2, or is it a custom for an M249? Paintballbum said it is only for TOP M249.

you can run a systema m130 and get 500 FPS in V.3 gearboxes

Well bad news, I went to the machine shop today. I brought in a version2 mechbox and the guy said that he couldnt duplicate the box. And he said even if he could, it would cost about $2000 for the CAD and CNC work!!! So... Anyone got a Machinist friend that has nice equipment and is into airsoft? LOL

I heard you can round the top corner of the ver 2 Gear box so that the stress is distributed (like a bridge) across a wider area as opposed to the sharp corner

yeah because it's not constant, I'd imagine the repeated stress would just multiply until it snapped.

Marui stock version 3's are pretty strong, m140 using low rof would be fine and a lightweight piston.
