I noticed that wraith667 is now an admin. I saw no discussion of it. Don't we have a voting system for choosing new admins? Just wondering.

hmmmm....... I was under the impression that all new admins had to be voted in by everyone else.

I changed his status back to a regular user till we clear this up.

I was just thinking that he is really in a pissy mood lately. Especially after reading your top link again Andrew.

It looks like wraith still has admin rights, as he deleted some posts.

From what I can see in the admin control panel he is assigned 'user' permission and nothing more.

I think what he was trying to say is he deleted one of his own posts.

It looks like he deleted Faint's and his own posts. I also dont understand the whole "attitude" he is giving everyone.

Im not sure how he got that mixed up. my post was clearly in response to "austen". His whole "oh yah, and this is why I don't play with sacair" thing he seems to add to every other post pisses me off.

He's cool as a person but not as an admin perhaps. If memory serves me correctly the first time I met him I believe he was smok'n a joint out in the parking lot of Nam field. Not something any admin should be doing.

I just sent a PM to wraith and told him this is his last warning. I am tired of his agro attitude towards everyone. He posted something towards this Nitrous person telling him he needs to learn a thing or two about forums and to basically shut the f*ck up. The kid gave some bad advice and I politely asked him to refrain. There was no need to dogpile on top of him with that kind of attitude.

Am I missing something about new admins? Dev_What? is listed as a moderator of the admin board.

sure_shot is also listed as a moderator. I have nothing against these guys, but who is granting adminship without keeping everyone in the loop?

I agree there should be some form of voting on here for mods and admins and such. So there's no confusion online or at games.

I just want to avoid any incidents like the confusion with the Chris Cooper incident at the field posing as an admin. Also to keep people from abusing Admin authority like the Ross incident.

My bad guys, I upgraded them to Mods and in the process forgot to leave the Admin setting in "Is not a mod".
