CQB field vs other fields.

Why is it so many people wantto have games at the yuba CQB field? Is walking out to a field a big enough deterent to make the 100 yards walk to the CQB building that much more desirable?

no poison oak, no spiders... dunno.. i am up for the new field, just those 2 things i like about the cqb and a building is differnt cqb than a forest

Honestly I've gotten poison oak every single time I've played airsoft in any type of forest/wooden area, and I hate to say it.... But sooo not worth it... Takes me like 2days-2weeks to heal from the poison oak, and I have that sappy crap all over me, airsofts not worth that misery. So I'm happy with the CQB at Yuba.

I still have yet to get Poison Oak at the Nam Field.

I agree with you Erin, I'm not a big cqb fan, but everyone has their preference. I thought the new field was great, but I also don't have problems w/ PO. Different strokes for different folks...

I am poison oak's perfered target.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

I've played at the yuba CQB probably 40+ times.

My fave is the nam field. I do not know why peeps still want to play at some of the other fields. Cqb makes sense since it is a building. But the others?

for shizm, feather river "NAM" is the bomb right now, as far as quality of fields.

I havent played in a while but i have played the cqb field. i like it becaus eof the lack of PO. i only have to like look at it and it will be everywhere. i had it to the point where i could barley move. but then i went to the doctors and he told me to take the clariton tablets before i go out and it will keep it from going systemic and take a technu shower right away. try to technu twice. so far it has seemed to work. i only get spots here and there. so that could solve something for some people and get a better rotation of games. i will definatly see you all this summer hopefully sooner.

We played the nam field three weeks ago. I played near the poison oak and crawled through lots of bushes off-trail at one point and spotted lots of PO around me. When I got home, I showered with technu... and low and behold, no poison oak! First time ever I've played at a field with PO and didn't get any spots a few days later. I always get some, even if just a little bit.

if the old cqb building was bigger...and not so messed up, it'd be more fun...

Ya, it needs a little attention these days to make it fun again

From the pictures ive seen of all your fields, theyre all awesome. You should consider yourselves lucky to have so many places to play for free. I wouldnt care witch one i play at. Theyre all very cool.

Poison Oak takes anywhere from 30mins to 6 hrs for the oil to bond with your skin. once that happens, your pretty much bound to get it, unless you use a product like tecnu, which is made to seperate the oil and wash it out.
