I suggest adding an additional information page upon signing up for an account on sacair that is just a summary of forum behavior.

i totaly know what you are saying man, but sadly work in retail for a week and you will understand what im talking about. 500 customers a day ask me how much something is when the price tag is on the item they are holding. sadly today people just dont pay attention and sadly people like us need to help them. *shrug* would be nice if the chaos would decrease but im doubting it...;/

Its easy to tell the difference between someone who is new to the forum scene and just some lazy kid who wants every bit of information handed to them on a silver platter. If itâs a new guy who is honestly confused and needs to be set right I am more that happy to help him. I have very little respect for the lazy people and treat them accordingly. I see them all the time in SCA...they never bring anything to the table. They are not out to expanded their knowledge on the subjectâ¦just too parasitically feed off the efforts of the contributing members. I got interested in airsoft when I was 13......I did endless amounts of research online before finding sacair in 02.....skulked around the forums for about a year before deciding that I had enough knowledge on the subject to join a community of ADULTS. All the other old school guys went though pretty much the same thing. I'm sorry if I find it pathetic that some people can't even put in the effort of a Google search. I will always be more than happy to help someone along on their quest for knowledge in any subject but I will NEVER spoon feed some punkass who canât even show our community enough respect to write in complete sentences!

I dig what you are saying, I too on multiple occasions have PM'd a user, and told them "Ask me every question you can think of" and then I just replied with a 3 page response.
