I'm debating on whether or not to get an eotech 551 or an imitation Hurricane 551.

i dont own one but i HIGHLY doubt the RS eotech screens to crack or splinter or shatter due to a airsoft BB and ANY velocity.

Get the Real Eotech. The holo sights are way diffrent. Try if you can compare the two side by side. Life time Backing from EOtech! (but again this is airsoft.) You can always go to tap plastics to make a shield for a hurricane.

The red reticle dimmed its now unusable in day light outdoor games, but the green one is fine.

now all you want next for that 551 is a magnifier. just get a clone. It works fine.
