Ok, qustion about decmpressing the spring. I shot my AK out back after getting it upgraded by Glenn last night. When I was done, I dry fired it twice in simi auto to decompress it. However when I look down the tube where the bbs go in I can see the nozzle is pulled back (like you can see the end coming out of the left side from the gear box)

Spring is slightly compressed. But the bigger issue is your piston. The final tooth is probably engaged to the gears, and with prolonged spring tension, it will eventually break over a period of time. Shouldn't be too bad with a stock spring or an M100 equivelant...
