sudden extreme lower back pain
Does it feel like you spine or muscle. If you were not moving possibly a pinched nerve. Most cases it's a pulled muscle. All guesses from my experience w/ my back injuries, I'm no doc though.
Any falls, accidents or injuries to your back within the last 5 years? nothing comes to mind

Does Diabetes run in your family?
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.

have you been sitting like that for a while? Normally when I sleep wrong or am sitting on the couch all day(doing homework) and move i get some sharp pains in my back. Ive guessed its nerve damage, and it usually hurts REALLY bad for a few days then it goes away. The worst is when it gets to your neck and you cant turn your head to the right. Hope it never happens to you.
i was sitting in my bed for like 5 min.

if the pain is bad enough, you should make an appointment to see your doctor soon.
What's a signature?
I suffer from sciatica and lower back muscles spasms myself. My doctor has me one a steady routine of Flexeril as needed with no questions asked when new prescriptions are filled.
he'd be way too young for sciatic inflamatia, besied that would be a shooting pain through his legs and back

and the culprit is.......
yeah i think the bottom line is get your a$$ into the doctor and if it's "too late" go to the E. When they ask you to scale it 1-10 tell them it's a 6 or a 7 if it's really a 5!
Have you been drinking plenty of water? May need to flush kidneys. Cranberry juice works too.

yeah cranberry juice doesn't do anything. there's anecdotal evidence at best.
What's a signature?
Black coffee for kidney stones, water for flushing kidneys, pure apple juice(i.e. martinelli) for digestive problems, 50/50 gatorade/water to rehydrate. Plugged intestines can cause back pain and so can inflamed kidneys. Pain killers not a good idea do to risk of further injury and liver damage.

[quote="Night"]Black coffee for kidney stonesquote]
Black coffee breaks up kidney stones. The stones are excess calcium that build up in your kidneys. My dad got'em that way because he took cream in his coffee. I for some reason have a calcium deficiency. Go figure.

I'm just trying to help. That's all. I've used the remedies I've mentioned, so they're from experience. I'm not saying it's everyone.

yeah it;s sounding pretty coincidental that coffee worked. It's a vassal costrictant, dehyrant and can cause blockages in the fitlration organs (pancreas, kidneys, etc.) aka stones
