50/50 gatorade/water mix also helps with intestinal blockages by way of electrolyte stimulation. And yes, diet is a MAJOR factor. Bleached flour is a no-no for that. So yes I do concur.

It is all on topic. Everything mentioned can and will cause back pain. I've had all symptoms happen to me. Just passing on what I've noticed works. Thanks for mentioning acai berry juice, I'll try that sometime.

If it is kidney stones I feel for you. I just had them about two or three weeks ago. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I went to the ER actully becuase I had no idea what was wrong with me. If it's kidney stones the only thing you can really do is drink LOTS of water. I mean more water then you want to. It's the only thing that will really work for stones. Unless it's too big to flush out, then you have to go to the DR and get an ultrasound kinda thing to break them up. Basicly if you go to the DR all they will do is tell you drink lots of water and they'll give you pain drugs. Did you feel like you were going to puke or pass out when it was at it's worst? Is it like a really bad cramp. Does it come in waves of really bad pain and then kinda die down after a few minutes? And.. is it on one side more then another?
