I know the MP5k/PDW uses a Ver.3 gearbox. And regular MP5's use a Ver.2 gearbox. So my question is this: Is it possible to take a Ver.3 gearbox, with the right wiring and selection plate, and put it into a regular MP5 (not a K or PDW model)? If so, what needs to be done for this to be possible?

I don't think that the handguards will work. The steel SLR version is cloned after the Inokatsu/Guarder kits. While the original SLR handguards was fitted differently than TM.

A answer to question two.

[quote="souljacker"]Q1: How compatible are TM and CA AK parts? Such as, would I be able to drop some CA SLR105 handguards on a TM AK47 w/o any modification?
Haha well thanks everybody. Glad to know about the handguards, I was gonna buy some. Woulda been pretty disappointing if they didn't fit.

Update. Some questions about fuses.

[quote="souljacker"]Q1: What purpose do fuses have?

if your gun is properly shimemd you should never blow a fuse
I used to take my fuses out. Now I leave them in, I toasted one motor due to lack of fuse when 2 of my 6 bearings shattered. Exspensive repair job to say the least. If I had a fuse I think it owuld have saved it self. I ended up losing 1 piston, 1 gear set, 1 motor, 1 trigger switch assemlby.
Yea I just watched my TM AK47 blow through 2 different fuses, but it was my own fault (for some reason I didn't really grasp the concept of "red wire to red wire, black to black).
