I have heard that the CA sportline m15 carbines don't take upgrades very well and i wanna put a new spring in mine that will put my gun just under 400fps. does anyone know what kind of spring i should put in it and should i do it myself or have AEX do it?

It all depends on how experienced you are at working on your own mechbox. Otherwise, AEX would be the wisest choice. Regardless, a 110 spring is most you'll need to get slightly under 400fps. Google it and see who else in the world has done upgrades on the sportline to get an idea of what the weak points are for the sportline.

If you dont have experiance points like others in GB :P like freq88 said take it to AEX its the best thing you can do :)

Changing out a spring is a somewhat complex procedure. If you are willing to spend some time, scratching your head, then go ahead and try it yourself.
well my sp110 shot around 415-20 ish i had to go with a sp100 which is about 380-95, and thats with good seal in the hop unit.

i did it and it took me 2 hours the first time i did it. Those 2 hours were 2 hours of hell because if you dont know how to put it back together your screwed.
