It states in there rules that your allowed to use 40mm grenade shells but you have to have the muzzle in a downward position before firing. How are you supposed to hit anything like that? Some clarification would be nice. Thanks!
dont fire it in someones face.

Well I know that but when you shoot a m203 the spread on those things are about 3-5 ft and sometimes it's hard not to.Expecially if the person is a good 60-80 ft away you have to aim the muzzle up to increase range.
he means dont give them a face full of BB's up close.

I'd ask during the briefing for clarification, but I imagine that's mostly for room clearing and such, and to get it out of peoples' heads that it's fine to tag someone with fifty rounds or more from twenty feet.

When you use a 40mm in the rooms at CQB city, every one in that room dies. Even if not hit, unless they are behind hard cover. (the hard cover I'm not to sure about.) So even if aimed down ward it still has the same effect. Even empty w/ gas (no bbs) will still have the same kill effect.
Thanks for the clarification.I know that when you shoot into the killhouse or one of the rooms everyone dies in that room but I wasn't sure about the pointing the m203 barrel downward part.My best bet is to just ask them whenever I get there. Thanks again!
