On my friends JG m4, the motor is not making any contact with the gears. I pushed it down as far as it could go, and it was still not making any contact. I just heard it spinning as if it werent even in the gun at all. I don't know why. I atempted to fix this by checking to see if the bevel gear was stripped and it wasnt. So I reshimed the gun and put it back together. I pulled the trigger and it shot like 5 times, then it went back to not making any contact with the gears. I do not know whats going on. Anyone else know?
SOunds like you forgot the little plate that sits between the back of the motor and the motor adjustment plate. As the motor spins it unscrews the adjustment screw. Check that.
what does this piece look like?
Little metal disk like a washer that DOESNT have a hole in the center.
there is another small silver disk that i am missing?
perhaps, i dont know what you are missing or what you have.
ok, in the grip i have: the motor, the small silver disk that goes right on top of the motor, the little thing that pushes the motor down, and the two screws that conect it to the gb.
Hmmm ok sounds like you got everything. I guesse I was wrong on my first guesse. Not im not sure whats wrong.
Check and make sure the pinion is not missing the set screw on the motor. Or just try a different motor.

this motor is lame. It doesnt even have a spot for a scew. Im gonna try my friends eg1000.
Compare motors side by side before installing the other motor. If tip to tip there is a difference, you should adjust the screw on the baseplate. That is done so you dont screw up your friends pinion.

uh oh. Where is the screw on the base plate?
buy a eg1000 motor........... those clone motors SUX there no good especially if you want to upgrade your gun.

i dont have money anymore. Is there anyway to tighten the pinion? I down graded it now. So the gun should be shooting at around 300fps.
Well you could get a new pinion gear pretty cheap, but not free.
