walmart seems to be hiring it doesnt pay much but anything is better than nothing me and my cousins boyfriend both just got hired at different stores

Do you call th employers back? How well do you dress when you apply, do have a current resume? What is your demeanor when you are talking a possible employer? Im a retail manager and when I do interviews and EVEN take applications those are all things I hold accoutnable. Dress in an ironed shirt with a tie and ironed pants with nice shoes. Brush your teeth and wear deodorant. Have a current job resume with a goals on the top and past achivments, not just past jobs. Have a good hand shake, not to hurt but to be firm. Have a strong voice dont be shy. Employers like you to ask them questions.

I know that Target on Bruceville and Laguna is hiring various positions. I also know that you can submit an application in for the State Faire, if you dont mind working with the stereotypical 'carnies.'

look into the trades. Ironworkers, Pipefitters (Plumbers) and Sheetmetal (HVAC) unions are pretty strong in norcal. Carpenter's union ain't that great for a variety of reasons. Some people don't like unions. I'm not too fond of them myself, but they do offer a way into the trades with decent benefits, pay scale and such.

I can refer you to a couple people who can get you a job guaranteed as long as you are healthy with no Felonies on your record :D ... it's high risk and the pay isn't so good but there are a lot of fringe benefits, has free personal trainers for the first couple months and its very personally rewarding.
