i just got my scar from aex with a gurder sp120 spring pre installed and it wont fire. im using a 8.4v 1150 mah battery and have tryed other baterys all charged. do i need a 9.6?

i can hear the motor moving but the piston has no motion

i would take it back to AEX. I doubt they would have let it leave the shop without it firing.

were you playing with it then this happened? or did you walk in your door from picking it up and try to shoot it and this happened?

sounds like you need a 9.6v. my sportsline wouldn't fire an sp120 with an 8.4 but would with a 9.6

well when i fire it it feels like the motor is moving but the gearbox dosent respond. give me a min ill try agin

ok soo i tryed it and it soundes like the piston is moving a little it goes forward while pulling the trigger once releaced the poiston seems to come back

on a sidenote, i had a ca g3a3 that i had stuck an sp120 into. the 8.4v 1700 mah would not turn it. i tried a 9.6v 1700 and it worked. so i knew it wasn't the gearbox. i stuck an eg1000 in it, tried the 8.4v again and it worked.

oh yeah, found out that my gun was shooting 440 fps then.
