HELP,i think ive been scammed HELP
hey, i shipped one of my guns to a guy in arizona, and it says its been delivered. hes saying he never got the gun and ups never shipped it. the tracking number and the people at ups say otherwise.
please help me out, it was my star l85 package worth close to a grand.
sorry to say but you are sol.
How did he pay for it?
Yo MaMa!
google.... call whoever you shipped it through and tell them whats happening. maybe they delivered it wrong or maybe then can point you into the right direction. Also did you fill out the value of the package thing? Should always take money before shipping.

Yo MaMa!
ive called him and he said they didnt deliver it, the whle package was close to a f*king grand, maybe a little over! i have no cluse what to do, he said ups came by but didnt deliver anything, im seriously thinking about flying over there and beating him down.
you can beat him up but you will still be down a grand and then some for the plane ticket and back. plus a possible lawsuit.
lol true, but the satisfactory will be great. jk, but not really. i have no idea what to do, you think ups will pay out? i insured it for $500...
if it has been insured and you kept the documents with the correct address, someone should have signed for it. i think the person is lying. go check with ups about this. you'll have more informative answers regarding this than on here.

if you can verify that UPS delivered it to the right address (which you should be able to do especially since it was insured tho why you didn't insure it for the full amount is beyond me), and he doesn't ship you the other gun then he has committed mail fraud and since its interstate commerce it would be a federal matter. I believe mail fraud is a felony but either way you would contact the FBI to handle it. Just the threat of doing so AFTER AFTER AFTER you have proof should hopefully be enough to straiten him out.
saves you the cost of a plane ticket and saves him the beating...
Be very sure that he scammed you before you take any serious action against him. Have positive PROOF. Otherwise you'll seem like a jack*ss when everything turns out to be fine.

If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.
Chances are that your rifle is never coming, Very good chance that you were scammed, however threating to beat someone is never a good idea.
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.
Call a U.S. Postal Inspector, they regulate all the freight companies like UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc., on top of all the U.S. Mail as well.
if it was craigslist, dont sell to anybody out of city
nope, asr. i think ups might be slow, but im going to give him till tomorrow, then im going to talk to ups.
everyone has an opinion.

I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
sure, but its a little hard seeing my hard work getting pissed down the drain.
deal with it! had you properly protected yourself it would be a non issue. If you want help.....fine but enough whining....please?
im not whining, i insured it, and im just waiting a couple of days. if he says he doesnt get it by sat, then ill do something, but till then im playing the waiting game.
You're perfectly justified being angry, I would be pissed as well.

The longer you wait the less chance you will ge tto get it back. Odd's are the guy will move the is piece for cash the second he gets it. Getting ahold of law enforcement is your top priority.
if it's insured than isn't a signature required for UPS deliveries? Your email correspondence doesn't mean anything right now. The only thing that matters is that you get the exact tracking information from UPS. Who delivered, who signed for it, where it was delivered, etc. That is the ONLY means at this time. Once you have that than and only than will law enforcement be able to/willing to do anything.
