yeah i know...lol but thanks yeah i just signed up so i am kinda new..bout half an hour new actually..anybody know how to change my profile or sumthing it says Mentally Challenged or sumthing by my name lol

All in all, I don't think your FPS will go over 400 in the first place. The only thing thats going to increase your FPS is the CA Standard upgrade, and your simple solution to that is to ask that they put in a M110 spring instead of a M120 spring. Don't worry about high speed gears increasing your FPS by a significant amount. The speed the gears refer to is your ROF, not your FPS.

In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
Fort Ord has a pretty lax FPS rule. Sacair feels that if you give one person a 420 FPS ok what's the difference in letting a person with 425? Where do you stop? The muzzle energy difference between 400 and 420 is quite a bit and leaves a lot of room for serious injuries and fights breaking out.

I don't understand why people have to get a AEG upgraded before they get it, especially if they are new to airsoft. Upgrading a AEG is NOT required to play. You can certainly go an play games and enjoy yourself with a stock gun shooting 300 fps (or less).

I have read your guys's replys and well heres a big answer to all of the replys since i wasnt here..anyways yeah i dont know how the gear set raises my FPS either lol i was kinda confused when it said (350 FPS) next to it when i was looking at it online..but yeah i think i'll be fine if you guys r correct then the gear set shouldnt really raise the FPS..so i know what i'm gonna do now thanks. Oh and whoever said you dont need an upgrade for airsoft especially if your new. I know that i have had my gun for about a year now..and i wanted to get an upgrade for it..doesnt hurt to make things better ya know.

soul when you said torque gear set is this what you mean?

Just put a m100 spring in the gun. The stock gears will pull that no problem. The m100 will get the same performace as a m120 for the most part aside from a slightly lower fps. The 100 however will be alot better on the gun.
