G&G UMP what are your guys's thoughts, are there better ones out there for that price or around it, please let me know i am debating about purchasing one

All that i have heard is that G&G internals are like a car wreck. so you may want to consider upgrading.....ALOT.

G&G guns have been coming up in quality.

ok thank you guys, now i am wondering if i were to get this gun what upgrades should i do to it to make it perform anywhere from 350-400?

What do they shoot out of the box? A lot of G&G guns are 'pre-upgraded'.

my buddy got his G&G UMP up to almost 400 and he rocks it more than he does his SAW

Probably because its a third of the weight?

nope, he's bigger than me so it's really not a factor

if i wanted to make it more accurate could i run a longer barrel through a silencer?

One of my friends bought one from someone else on this board for $150, came with 2 standards and a hicap. He then gave it to me to work on. He got it cheap because the former owner said it was only shoooting semi-auto. After opening it up, I just bent the contacts from the gearbox to the selector plate and what do you know; semi and full auto works.

The new G&G UMG's shoot 350-360 fps with a .20.

how will i be able to tell if it is a new UMP compared to an old one?

If you buy it from a retailer.....
