Aging Your Woodie
...No...Not that woodie. Your Ak with the wood kit! I beleive I found a good "aging" Ak how-to for the AK...I might just do this next week.....

I think it looks a little too much... It doesn't look bad, just over done. I have a 60 year old M1 that saw two wars that isn't that beat up.

I'm not, I'm just saying that I think it's a little TOO beat up looking. Guns are pretty tough.

two wars? hahahaha yah, sitting in a crate covered in cosmoline maybe. Issue rifles get beat to shit. guns are are tough, finishes are not.
I'm not saying my M1 isn't beat up. Or any of my ww2 guns. I'm just saying that it seems like it's a little too much on that AK. Just my opinion. That's all. Here is another kinda cool guide for weathering and aging though.

I've used the second guide to weather a gun. Results were very nice.
I just use my guns to put wear on them. 8)
