Question about the scout, how do they handle? I have been lookin at the m14 SOCOM, but I was tryin to figure out between that, the regular m14, and the scout. Any major differences between the three? I like the way the SOCOM felt when I held it up at AEX, as it is ambidextrous compatible. Any advice from peeps who have used any or all three?

The m14 socom shoots quite nicely. My friend just bought one the other day and we had a small game. It shoots fast, hits hard and is accurate. 8/10 on my scale. As far as the other ones go idk. Were goin to the night game this weekend so maybe u can check it out if ur still unconvinced
I don't fail
We are talking TM right? I've had both, the G&G M14 and the TM soc16, and the later is probably the smoothest running gun i've owned. Put a bigger spring in it to get it up to 380, and a guarder clear hop bucking (i want to try a firefly but who knows how much of a difference that will really make) and it shoots great. Nice rate of fire and good range. Its a really good all around rifle. The G&G..... well lets just say andrew knew that rifle VERY well.

-insert failed attempt of something funny here-
As far as the increasing FPS, around how much does the larger spring cost? And how much is too much? From what I hear, TM is probably the most reliable brand, I just would like to hear from people who have been playin a while as well. Thanks for all the info so far

I can't remember what rating it was, but its a PDI something or other. I wanted to keep it under 400fps for use at games and andrew recommended it. They are like $12 + however much labor it takes to get it in, half hour or an hour can't remember how AEX does it. But its not much

Yeah, I think I am sold on the TM soc16. As far as reviews I've read, its a sturdy gun. I like being able to shoulder it either side...thank Odin for abidextrous weapons.
