Oh no, my piston broke,

Jun 21, 2008 4:59am
Today i was shooting my CA m14 and my gun stopped firing. It sounded like my motor was not catching on to anything. I took it home and opened it up and found my piston broken. It was at the side closest to the spring guide and it was near the last tooth. The bottom tooth from the tracks of the piston are have broken off. It was a stock CA piston; the yellow kind. So did it break because of the 400fps spring i had installed, or just cause the CA piston sucks?

Make sure it fits correctly. Often times CA guns will only accept CA pistons because of the size of the guide rails.

I donno. Its kind of a tight fit but it moves on the tracks, not as smooth as the Ca piston though.
