CA MP5SD6N

Ok I'm thinking about picking one up for my Bday. Like the feel of the all metal gun. Nice balance, nice heft and so forth. And since I use primarily single shots and not a great deal of full auto I want fast follow up shot for rapid double taps.

it may strip the gears because the the battry is so strong.

You're gonna have to be careful with this one. I had an SD3 & A3 that stripped gears using 9.6v/1700mah batts. And this was during 2-3 sec bursts plinking in my garage...Those are older versions though, so maybe the quality is better with the SD6N?

I would just leave the gun alone as is. Then again, I wouldn't buy a CA in the first place. What would I do?

Erin, alot of suggestions here...You might as well just try the 10.8v. Especially since you "plan" on using semi most of the time...I remember when peeps were told not to use high speed gears with an M120. And there was a Sacair member who had that plus a 10.8v batt in his Mc51 that ran well. Can't remember who tho...

I had a full metal SD5, I liked the looks of it but not as much as when I had the old a4 front on there with a socom silencer, looked bad ass.
America... just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable.- HST.

So would a new spring guide, Systema high speed motor, and a 9.6 battery give me what I want in a stock CA MP5? Or would a new set of gears be a good idea aswell?

Ok, I found everything on the lists on AEX ecept the teflon Cylinder. Does AEX not carry them? Found Bore Up cylinder kits, but nothing mentioning teflon?
