Hi everyone, I want to ask if there is anyway I can give my black tactical vest a camo paint job. Recently I purchased an used black Blackhawk tactical vest at a very good price. The vest is awesome, but the black makes me stick out a little. If there is anyway I can change the color of my vest, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

It was the standard a few years ago for the SOCOM guys to spray paint thier black colored gear. Mainly vests and backpacks. Just use some Krylon camo paints from any hardware store.

Krylon works the best on fabric, I used testors version of FDE to paint my PT armor and my old blackhawk rig, they didn't look good so I OD them both with Krylon, took like four cans of the paint to finish both items.

thanks for the helpful replies. I will definitely learn how to move more efficiently. One main reason why I want to plaint my gear is that my team all have Olive grab vests; making me attract unnecessary attention to myself and to my team. So spray paint huh? how will the end results be? care to show me your bad ass gears?
