You need to get the CA Barrel lug tool, looks like a pickle fork with 2 pins that lock in to the barrel lug (I think the real steel one will also work) I'm sure a good set of plyers would probably work but they'll probably thrash the lug.

Ya its a specific Classic Army tool, I just go into gp and they usually crack it loose for me and tighten the new one, I think aex and gp sell them too for like 20 bucks but I don't need it often enough to buy one.

its called a delta ring. and it can be done without a tool.
