Its a dam shame that all the old gaurds of comedy are passing away. He totally beats the stupid young comedians IE dane cook.

I doubt there will be anyone from the new era of comedians who can come close to the legacy of George Carlin.

I justed wrapped up MGS4 and when I went to cable I saw this. Wow this is in deed a sad day. This is a guy that taught me alot about the world through comedy.

I liked him allot......but the rebellious anti-social atheist thing is a young mans game. When you're older, it just makes you seem kinda angry and sad. He was a good guy though. Hopefully he left the world feeling accomplished and fulfilled.

Very sad indeed, he was absolutely hilarious! Pretty soon all the older, funny comedians will be gone, and only the newer crappy comedians will be left.
